Calvin J Robinson

Calvin Jerome Robinson was born to Mary Lewis-Robinson and Andrew Robinson in Detroit Michigan. Calvin was baptized at Little Rock Baptist Church in Detroit.  He married the love of his life, his now ex-wife Glinda Jenkins-Robinson in 1983.  His mother, father and one brother Otis (Sonny) Parker preceded him in death.
 
Calvin worked at Michigan Bell/Ameritech for 30 years. After retiring he moved to North Carolina so that he could be closer to his sons. 

Calvin’s favorite pastimes were cooking, watching movies and collecting knives.
 
Calvin leaves to cherish is memories: His two sons Vincent Robinson and Steven Robinson, two sisters, Janice Stallworth and Eunice Story, and one brother Michael Robinson, several nieces, nephews, and cousins who have all lost his physical presence but not the memories of him that they treasure.
 
Calvin will be remembered and greatly missed by all, and we take solace in knowing that he is no longer in pain but is resting in the arms of our heavenly Father.
