Carolyn was Born in Institute, WV and adopted at the age of 10 months and raised in Morgantown, WV by the late Aubrey R and Edna Beatrice Peters.

She graduated from Morgantown High School and was employed by Monongalia General Hospital where she retired in 2002 after 24 years of service.

In 2004 she moved to Cape Coral, FL where she was employed by Florida Independent Truck Repair for 14 years where she enjoyed working with a great group of men who became a part of her family.

In 2020 she moved with her daughter to North Carolina, She was an avid reader who loved to knit, crochet and she loved her cats!

She leaves behind three children: Mary Jo Chisler of Melbourne FL, Richard A Chisler and Fiancé Susan Garlitz of Mount Morris PA and Kenna D Chisler of Clayton NC.

She also leaves behind two Grandchildren: Eric P Lowe of Baltimore MD and Alissa J Lowe and Significant other John Christian of Manchester CT as well as two Great Grandchildren: Alexandar Christian and Logan Christian of Manchester CT.

Per Carolyns wishes no Memorial Services will be held, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to: SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health, PO Box 1376 Smithfield NC 27577 or a local animal charity of your choosing.
