Christian Haus

Christian Haus, 66, of Sanford, North Carolina, passed away on September 9, 2026. Born and raised in Binghamton, New York, Christian built a life defined by his steadfast work ethic, his distinct passions, and his family. He dedicated four decades of his professional life to the printing industry, where he was a valued and experienced presence. Outside of his career, Christian was a man who appreciated life’s simple pleasures—whether he was out on the water sailing, enjoying time at the beach, cheering on Notre Dame football, cooking a great meal, or listening to music. Christian was preceded in death by his father, Miles Haus. He is survived by his mother, Rosemarie Haus; his daughter, Sydney Basile and her son (his grandson), Layne; his son, CJ Haus; and his four siblings: Susan Keen, William Haus, Miles Haus, and Julie Burns. A private gathering to celebrate his life will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Christian’s name to the National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA).
