Clayborne Gage Parrish

Clayborne Gage Parrish was born at Durham Regional hospital on August 21st, 2003. He passed away on January 31st, 2022 at the young age of 18 years old. He was the son of Vera Sands Parrish and Clayborne Brent Parrish. Gage was the sweetest, kindest, warm hearted, silliest, fun-loving, young man there was. He loved outdoor activities, dirt bikes, working on cars, and cutting down trees. He always said when he grew up he wanted to be a mechanic like his papa and daddy. Gage loved his family and would give anyone the shirt off of his back. Gage is preceded in death by his grandfather Lynn Sands. Gage is survived by his son Jackson Colbe Parrish, his mother Vera Sands Parrish, his father Clayborne Brent Parrish, his two sisters Tori Jean Parrish and Angel Lynn Parrish, his grandmother Rebecca Jean Sands, and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral service will be held Wednesday February 9th at 1:00pm at Bible Baptist church in Creedmoor, NC with Rev. Greg Allison officiating. The burial will then follow at 2:00pm to Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham, NC. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the church.
