Clifton Earl Ebron
Clifton Earl “Clif” Ebron, age 78, entered into rest on September 23, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1948, in Greenville, North Carolina, to Jannie Ebron and James Taft.
Clif graduated from C.M. Eppes High School before joining the United States Army. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. Following his military service, Clif held various positions in the manufacturing industry. His greatest professional passion was manufacturing corrugated boxes. His knowledge, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to own and operate his own company in Macon, Georgia.
Clif and Francine Ebron were united in marriage on September 2, 1990, and were blessed to share 36 years of marriage. Throughout their life together, Francine remained a loving and devoted wife and mother. During Clif’s time of need, she faithfully stood by his side, caring for him with patience, tenderness, compassion, and unwavering devotion. Together, Francine and his daughter Angela made certain that Clif was surrounded by dignity, peace, and the warmth of family. Their sacrifices and selfless devotion were beautiful expressions of love that will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
Clif was preceded in death by his mother, Jannie Ebron; his father, James Taft; and his brothers, Carl Ebron, Don Ebron, and Farley Ebron.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Francine Ebron; his children, Angela, Matthew (KiShanda), Anthony (Renae) of Dallas, Texas, Tyrone (Chandra) of Grovetown, Georgia, Cory (Danielle) of Humble, Texas, and Jessica (Charles) of Dallas, Texas; and his stepchildren, Jesse Ingram (Yakiemah) of Hampton, Virginia, and LaToya Jordan (Robert) of Brooklyn, New York.
Clif is also survived by his brother, Harold Stevenson (Martha) of Greenville, North Carolina; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Clif’s life was marked by courageous service, hard work, determination, and devotion to his family. His accomplishments and the love he shared will remain a lasting part of his legacy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by everyone whose life he touched.
The family extends special thanks to Duke Hospice and Clif’s hospice team, especially Nurse Ashley Parker and Donte Saucillo; the Care Givers Support Group; Dr. Shook; Forest View Elementary School; and Amanda Bulloch for their compassionate care, kindness, comfort, and support.
The funeral service will be held on October 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 2047 Gate 2 Road, Creedmoor, North Carolina 27522.
