David Wentz

David was born on August 3, 1956 in Raleigh, to Henry and Ella Mae Wentz, who preceded him in death, as well as his sister, Judy Gordley. Survived by his brother, Hank. He graduated from Enloe High School and worked and retired for the State of North Carolina. He will be remembered for his love of anything NASA. For his endless amounts of papers that chronicled flight simulations, watching/operating remote controlled planes, going to sports car racing events, and making music CD’s for family members. He loved all of his nieces and extended family members. He was kind, stubborn, and had a mind of his own for sure! Special thanks to Aunt Shirley for all the cards and loving thoughts she sent to David. And, to Hartwell for those that gave him so much care.
