Earl J. Schaffer

Earl June Schaffer, 93, of Dunn passed away October 2, 2026 at his home.  

No services will be held at this time.  

Mr. Schaffer was born on February 16, 1933 in Fayetteville, NC, the son of Everette and Ina Louise Schaffer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Everette Schaffer, Jr.  He served in the US Navy and was a Korean War Veteran.  

He loved sitting on his front porch swing and admiring the yards he had worked so diligently in over the years, while enjoying his large cup of coffee.  

He is survived by sons, William Schaffer (Kelly) of Autryville, Johathan Schaffer (Aimee) of Dunn; granddaughter, Kaylen Schaffer; grandsons, Caden Schaffer and Cylen Schaffer; and dear friend, Peggy Schaffer.
