Earnie Alease Barbour

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Earnie “Alease” Barbour, born on 03/21/1958 in Harnett County and passing away on 10/10/2026 in her home. Her life been a beautiful example of love, strength, kindness, and devotion to her family.
She was a woman who gave so much of herself to the people she loved. Through her hard work, caring heart, and unwavering dedication, she made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love was a blessing, her presence brought comfort, and her strength inspired those around her. She had a special way of making her family feel loved, valued, and cared for, and the memories she created will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and loved one. Her family was one of her greatest treasures, and the love she shared with them will continue to live on through the generations she helped shape. Although saying goodbye is never easy, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave us will never fade. Her lessons, her laughter, her warmth, and the moments shared with her will be cherished for a lifetime.
She leaves behind her beloved son, David Brandon Barbour, and daughter-in-law, Tina Kay Hilliard; her four cherished granddaughters, Hannah Kay Barbour, Hayden Alease Pearson, Kinzley Ray Jones, and Kylie Lane Hilliard; her two beloved grandsons, David Conner Barbour and Logan Tate Barbour; her dear sister, Eloise Bunn; and her brother, Earl Barbour. Each of them carries a piece of her heart and a lifetime of love and memories that will never be forgotten.
Though our hearts are broken by her absence, there is comfort in knowing that she is now reunited in Heaven with loved ones who went before her: her precious daughter, Tiffany Alease Barbour; her beloved father, David Henry Barbour; her loving mother, Rachel Barbour; and her younger sister, Mary Barbour. We find peace in imagining their joyful reunion, knowing that she is once again surrounded by the love of those she missed so dearly. While we wish we could have had more time with her here on Earth, we take comfort in believing that she is at peace, embraced by her loved ones, and finally home with them again.
While our hearts ache in her absence, we are forever grateful for the time we were blessed to share with her. Her love will continue to guide us, her strength will continue to inspire us, and her memory will remain a precious gift to our family. Though we can no longer hold her hand or hear her voice, she will always be with us in the stories we tell, the traditions we carry on, and the love we share with one another.
A woman as loving, hardworking, and special as she was could never truly be forgotten. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love a legacy that will live on forever.
Rest peacefully, Grandma. You were loved more than words could ever express, and you will be missed more than our hearts can say. Thank you for the love you gave, the sacrifices you made, and the beautiful memories you left behind. Until we meet again, you will forever remain in our hearts. Though Heaven has welcomed you home, a part of you will always remain here with us. Your love will live on through all of us, today, tomorrow, and always.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
