Frank Bradley “Brad” Bender

Brad Bender, 67, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on October 26, 2026.  

Born on February 10, 1959, in Steubenville, OH, Brad was the son of the late Frank and Eleanor Bender. He was a deeply loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, in-law and friend whose generous heart touched many people throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, Brad is preceded in death by his wife Sheila Greer Bender and sisters Kathy Hornbeck and Sharon Coley.  

He is survived by his daughter, Emerald Mikeal and son Alex Jeffreys, along with grandchildren Emma, Everleigh, and Brycen Jeffreys. He also leaves behind his sisters, Debbie Swisher, Norma Jo Brantley, Ann Begley (Jeff) and brother, Brian Bender (Traci).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Buffalo Brothers, 3111 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604.  Family and friends are invited to gather for light refreshments, share memories and honor Brad’s life.
