James Francis Hancock

James was born in New Haven County, Waterbury, CT on December 12, 1942 to Larry Hancock and Emily Tripp Hancock.

He retired from Transmatic, Sanford, NC, where he worked as a class A tool and die maker. He enjoyed the beach and working on his old cars, gardening, reading , movies, and music.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlene Hancock; children and step-children, Edmond Hancock, Larry Jewett (Lois), Christina Bentley (predeceased Dave), Lianne Hustis, and Randy Jewett. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a nephew.

He was predeceased by his son, Rob Hancocksister; his sister, Marylin Cristillo and brother-law, Mike of Cripple Creek, Colorado.
