Jean Green Triplett

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Green Triplett, a truly remarkable woman whose kindness, warmth, and love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She was the sweetest person you could ever meet. Her gentle heart, beautiful smile, and caring nature made people feel loved, welcomed, and at home. She had a special way of making everyone around her feel important, whether through a kind word, a warm hug, a listening ear, or simply her presence.
As a mother, she gave her children a love that was unwavering and unconditional. She was their protector, their comfort, their biggest supporter, and someone they could always turn to. She taught her children the importance of kindness, compassion, family, and loving others with an open heart. Her love as a mother was one of the greatest gifts she could give, and her children will carry that love with them for the rest of their lives.
To her grandchildren, she was so much more than a grandmother. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love. She created memories that will be treasured forever and taught her family that the greatest gifts in life are love, kindness, and time spent together.
She found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. She loved spending time sewing, creating pieces with her own hands, and working with ceramics. She had a creative spirit and took pride in making something beautiful from an idea, a piece of fabric, or a bit of clay.
She also found great happiness in the kitchen, where cooking was more than a hobby—it was one of the ways she showed her love. Whether she was preparing a Thanksgiving feast for the whole family or making a simple grilled cheese sandwich for her grandson, she put the same love and care into everything she made. To her, it was never just about the food. It was about making sure the people she loved were cared for, comfortable, and never left hungry. Some of the most treasured memories of her may be found around her kitchen table, sharing a meal and enjoying the company of those she loved. She enjoyed working on puzzles, taking her time to find each little piece and seeing the whole picture come together. She loved arranging flowers, bringing color and beauty into her home and creating something lovely for others to enjoy.
And sometimes, happiness was as simple as settling into a comfortable chair with a good book. She appreciated the quiet moments of getting lost in a story, just as she appreciated the joy she found in all of her creative pursuits.
These hobbies were more than things she enjoyed they were reflections of who she was: creative, patient, thoughtful, and someone who found beauty in the little things.
She had a heart that seemed to have room for everyone. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she never hesitated to put others before herself. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
She leaves behind one child (Betty), two grandchildren (Harold and Carl), two sisters (Vivian and Laurie), four brothers (Sam, Bobby, Charlie, and Carey), and dear friends, all of whom will carry her memory and the love she gave them in their hearts. Each person who knew her has their own special memories of her favorite story, a warm embrace, a shared laugh, a meal around her table, or a simple moment that will now mean even more.
Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for every moment we were blessed to share with her. Her laughter, her stories, her hugs, and her loving spirit will remain with us always.
She may no longer be here in person, but the love she gave us will never leave us.
She was deeply loved, she will be profoundly missed, and she will remain forever in our hearts.
