Jennifer Faye Avant

It is with loving memory that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Jennifer “Faye” Avant. She was a kind, caring, and beautiful soul who brought joy to those around her. She was the youngest of her siblings, Derek, Constance, Alisa, Donna and Terry. She shared a special bond with her family and carried that love throughout her life.
She had a joyful spirit and love to laugh and spend time with friends and family whenever she could. When her health allowed, she enjoyed working in the hospitality industry especially with the elderly community. She took pride in helping others feel welcome and cared for.
Her greatest love was her family. She deeply loved her daughters, Tonya and Sherinita “Necole” and her grandkids Keyshawn and Malik. She was very proud of each of them and told them often. She was also very proud of her niece Shanta, and great niece and nephew Derion and Dy’mond. She was elated to meet her great-great niece Nova that she affectionately called “Little Faye”.
She will be greatly missed, but her love, laughter and caring heart will live on in the memories of all who knew her.
