Kerry Myers

Kerry Vaughn Myers, 65, of Henderson, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2026, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Born on April 23, 1961, in South Fork, Pennsylvania, he was the fifth child of Don and Jane Myers. After graduating from high school, Kerry moved to Virginia, where he met his wife, Diane Lichtenfels. Together they had three children: Danielle, Donald, and Kristin. As a single parent for several years, Kerry was a loving and devoted father. A gifted master mechanic, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and treasured time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Kerry is survived by his daughter Danielle and her daughter, Adriana; his son Donald, Donald’s wife, Melissa, and their children, Christina, and Andrew; and his daughter Kristin and her son, William. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters, Donita Breland and her husband, Carlus, and Chris Halloran; his brothers, Brian and his girlfriend Bonnie, and Alan and his girlfriend, Melissa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Kerry was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Jane Kocis Myers, and his wife, Diane. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, December 5th from 1:00-3:00 Entry will be via the back of the church. at Prince of Peace United Methodist Church, located at 6299 Token Forest Drive, Manassas, Virginia 20112. In Lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to American Cancer Society.
