Linda Marie Heil, 75, of Willow Spring, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2026.

Linda lived a life that was not always easy, but through every season, she remained strong-willed, determined, and unmistakably herself. Her life taught those around her many lessons about love, perseverance, and the complexities of life. She faced struggles that many never saw, but she continued to fight her battles in her own way.

Linda was married to her husband, James Heil, for 40 years. Through the years, James stood faithfully by her side and cared for her through the difficult seasons of her life. Their 40 years together were a testament to the commitment they made to one another.

Linda loved the things that brought her joy. She especially loved Disney—its movies, its songs, and the magic of it all. During the years her family lived in California, many happy memories were made on Disney trips together. She also loved dancing and decorating, and she had a strong personality that could certainly be described as both stubborn and strong-willed.

Linda is survived by her husband, James Heil; her daughters, Tracy Thompson, Jenny Conners, and Vanessa Folkman; and her son, Marcus Heil. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Seats.

She leaves behind nine grandchildren: Anthony Simpson, Rachel Petropulos, Nicole Trujillo, Sonnie Spehar, Caleb Conners, Shylah Folkman, Brighton Folkman, Savannah Folkman, and Preston Heil.

Linda’s family will carry with them the memories of her life—the lessons she taught them, the challenges they walked through together, and the moments of joy they shared. Her story was not always an easy one, but it was hers, and it mattered.

The words of 2 Timothy 4:7 hold special meaning as we remember her:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

After a long and difficult journey, Linda has finished her race. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now home with the Lord, where there is no more struggle, and that she is finally at peace.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
