Louise Odesta Johnson Mack

In Loving Memory of Louise Odesta Johnson Mack
April 18, 1941 – September 29, 2026
Louise Odesta Johnson Mack peacefully completed her earthly journey on September 29, 2026, at Smithfield Manor Rehab & Healthcare, where she resided. Born on April 18, 1941, Louise lived 85 years filled with love, family, memories, and faith.
Louise was a believer in Christ, and throughout her life, her faith offered her comfort and the promise that this world was never the end of the journey. While those who loved her now feel the weight of her absence, there is peace in believing that she has simply stepped from this life into the next — welcomed home into the arms of God and reunited with those she has missed for so long.
Among those awaiting her was her beloved husband, John. Since his passing, Louise carried the love they shared with her and deeply missed his presence. She long awaited the day when her journey would lead her back to him. We find comfort imagining that beautiful reunion — no more distance, no more waiting, only love.
Louise was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Mack Jones, whose memory remained a part of her heart.
She leaves behind her son, John Mack III, and a family who will continue carrying her love and her stories forward. Her grandchildren, Brittany, Landon, Tina, and Jennifer, were an important part of her life, as were her great-grandchildren, Blayden, Layla, Indigo, Alexus, Zarhian, and Nickalus. Through each generation, a piece of Louise will continue to live on.
Louise found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time with the people closest to her, enjoyed Chinese food, and had a special love for collecting baby dolls. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places, gathering memories along the way that became pieces of the story of her life.
Her life reminds us that the people we love never truly disappear from us. They remain in the stories we tell, the traditions we carry on, the laughter we remember, and the quiet moments when a memory suddenly feels close enough to touch.
Louise’s earthly chapter has now closed, but her spirit continues through every life she touched.
May we find peace knowing that she is no longer waiting for the loved ones who went before her. Her long-awaited journey home has come.
Rest peacefully, Louise.
You were a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, and a deeply loved part of your family.
Until we meet again, may you walk in light, surrounded by the souls you have missed, held in God’s everlasting love.
Your journey here is complete.
Your love remains.
And your spirit lives on.
