Marcia Sue Garelick

Marcia Sue Garelick (née Bialer) born on April 25, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York was the daughter of Sylvia and Henry Bialer. She was one of four children: Edward, Robert and Gayle Kelly. Surviving is Robert and his wife Joan. Marcia, at 15 met Alan Garelick while both were employed at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. The dates for six years until Alan graduated from Medical School. They married on August 20, 1967. They had two children Cheryl and Jami. Cheryl is now married to Lawrence S. Maitin, Esquire and have to beautiful children, Arielle, 25 and Damian, 23. Jami also has two children, Michael, 21 and Giana Grace, 13.
Marcia loved unicorns. She had a diverse collection of statues, plates and portraits, you name it. If it had a unicorn on it she has it. Marcia was a great planner. She loves to put together a party and her party’s were always a blast. She enjoyed Zombies, Blue motorcycles and Pink Moscato unfortunately her Marlboro Reds. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held Friday, Oct 7, 2022 @ 2:00 at Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery
