MaryJane Hunt

MaryJane was a member of a large family (the Hunts) consisting of seven siblings.  After losing her parents at a early age, she lived in an orphanage in Kinston, N.C.  Growing up her nick name was "Cotton Top".

As an adult she resided in several group homes in the Raleigh area.  Most notable was her time with Maggie Sickerott which lasted about 25 years.  

Prior to retiring MaryJane was a production worker at Wake Enterprises in Raleigh.  Her hobbies included watching movies and listening to music.  She attended Hayes Barton United Methodist Church in Raleigh where she enjoyed singing. Her favorite activity was to visit  family members for vacations and holidays. In the earlier years, she would spend time with Walter and Pearl Hunt-Williams and in recent years with the family of Janesa (Williams) and Brandon Totten. A special thanks to  Janesa, Jessica and their families.

MaryJane maintained a close relationship with her brother, Bobby Lee Hunt, and his family who reside in California.

MaryJane was loved and will be missed by all.
