Patricia Ann Canino

Patricia Canino (née Riti) of Rolesville, North Carolina passed away on Friday, September 18th, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. Pat was born on July 4th, 1960 to Rocco and Marie Riti. She graduated from Poughkeepsie High School and attended classes at Dutchess Community College. In 1984, Pat married Christopher Canino and had two sons – Louis James and Andrew Rocco.


After spending 34 years in the Hudson Valley of New York, Pat moved with her family to central North Carolina in 1994. In addition to working as a mother, preschool teacher, and customer care representative until her retirement in 2017, Pat also held a deep love for animals, estate sales, cooking, and making crafts.


Pat was predeceased by her son, Louis, and is survived by her husband Chrisopher, her son Andrew, her beloved mini poodle Cosmo, her sister Michele (and her brother-in-law Jeff), along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.


A future celebration of life will be held to honor Pat. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to your local pet shelter, your local hospice center or the American Cancer Society in Pat’s name.
