Robert (Bob) Flannery

Robert (Bob) F Flannery, 88, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, in his apartment of natural causes. He was predeceased by his wife Helen. He was a Naval veteran, serving on the USS Worcester as a gunner's mate. Bob was retired as a machinist/inspector from Rockwell/Goss, previously Textile Machine Works, Wyomissing, PA. He was an avid bowler, enjoying both his league involvement and practice time at Buffaloe Lanes, North Raleigh. Before moving to North Carolina, he bowled in many leagues at Bowl-O-Rama, Reading, PA. He also was an avid reader, easily reading a book each week.
Bob is survived by his children: Michael, husband of Kristy; Kelly, wife of Tim Fitzpatrick - both of Wake Forest, NC; and Patrick, husband of Sheri, of Adamstown, PA. There are nine grandchildren: Katie, Sean, Loren, Jefferey, Brandon, Robert, Jessica, Erika, and Shannon. He is also survived by his sister, Dee; and brother Ronald.
