Robert Thurman Biggerstaff

Robert Thurman Biggerstaff, 81, of Raleigh, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

He was born March 26, 1941 in Catawba County, NC to the late Malcolm Thurman Biggerstaff and Mary Helen Mullen Biggerstaff. He graduated from NC State University with a B.S. of Electrical Engineering and retired from CP&L in 1996.

In addition to his parents, his son, Gary Cook, preceded him in death.

Daughter: Jill Cakmakci and husband Chuck of St. Petersburg, FL

Son: Chris Biggerstaff and wife Lori of Carrboro, NC

Granddaughters: Tatum Cakmakci, Jordan Biggerstaff, & Sidra Biggerstaff

Brothers: Allen (Sherry) Biggerstaff, Gene (Donna) Biggerstaff & Joe (Phyllis) Biggerstaff of Vale, NC

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church 4536 Hickory Lincolnton Hwy. Newton, NC 28658

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice 3134 Wendell Blvd. Wendell, NC 27591
