Sandra Pearce Brooks

Sandra Pearce Brooks, age 83, passed away on February 16, 2026. She was born on January 29, 1943, in Franklin County, North Carolina.

Sandra was the daughter of the late Sherman Pearce and Elaine Pearce and was preceded in death by her brother, Travis Pearce.

Sandra worked for many years in the insurance industry before retiring. She was a devout member of Longview Baptist Church in Raleigh, where she faithfully served for many years as Chairman of the Hospitality Committee. She took great joy in welcoming others, preparing gatherings, and helping create a warm and inviting church community.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her steady presence, and the care she gave to those around her. She was a devoted wife and mother and brought warmth and companionship to her family and friends throughout her life.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Longview Baptist Church, 2308 N. New Hope Road, Raleigh, NC 27604.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Brooks; her daughter, Inglis Stevens (Pat); her granddaughters, Fallon Westfall (James) and Sophia Grace Stevens; her great-granddaughters, Summer Westfall, Zion Westfall, and Mallie Westfall; and her sister, Janet Sullivan (Britt).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Wake County.

Her faith guided her life, and she now rests in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
