Timothy Thomas Derleth

Timothy Thomas Derleth
December 16, 1952 - September 4, 2026
Timothy Derleth, 73, passed away on September 4, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a lifetime of memories that will continue to be cherished for generations.
Timothy was born on December 16, 1952, to Thomas and Maureen Derleth. He built a life centered around hard work, family, and using his hands to create and
build. Timothy had a lifelong passion for construction, dedicating his career to the field and working his way up through years of hard work and experience to become a Superintendent. He took great pride in his work and in everything he built along the way. His love for working with his hands extended well beyond his career. Even outside of work, Timothy could often be found taking on a project or woodworking, there was always something to build, fix, or create.
More important than anything he built with his hands was the family and life he built alongside his loving wife, Marylee Derleth. Timothy loved his family deeply, and the legacy he leaves behind can be seen through the many generations of his family who will carry his memory forward.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Marylee; his children, Jason (Tasha), Gabriel (Allix), Patrick (Sabrina), and Emily (Josh); his grandchildren, Mercedes, Re'kwaun, Jasmine, Myles, Roman, Adi, Luke, Evan, and Andrew; and his great-grandchildren, Kyra and Elaina.
He is also survived by his siblings, Robert (Sandy), John, Maureen (Nelson), and Steve, as well as his beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were an important part of his life and whom he loved dearly.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Derleth, who passed away in 2006, and Maureen Derleth, who passed away in 2023.
Timothy believed in Jesus, and his family finds comfort in knowing that death is not the end. While his absence will be deeply felt, the things he built, the lessons he passed along, the memories he created, and most importantly, the family he loved will remain part of his legacy.
Timothy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His hands may now be at rest, but the impact of the life he lived and the love he gave will continue through every generation of the family he leaves behind.
