William Chadwick Winters

William Chadwick Winters, known to those who loved him as Chad, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 56. He was born on December 22, 1969, in Charlotte, North Carolina. A beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and dear friend, Chad was kind, generous, and thoughtful. He never met a stranger, and his outgoing nature made it easy for him to connect with people wherever he went. Chad worked as a land surveyor. A history lover and world traveler, he had a curiosity about the world and the people in it. He found joy in exploring new places and learning the stories of the past. Chad is survived by his wife, Lisa; his mother, Inda; his father, Charles, and stepmother, Mary; his brother, Brandon; and his nephew, Phoenix. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation in Chad’s memory.
